Infused Armor question
Okay, I went through the Iron Mines of Muldune mission and got my 1.5k armor infused. I later bought an elite top. I noticed a I got a drain when fighting Mursaat later, trying to complete the bonus which I was missing in Abaddon's Mouth. I'm assuming that was Spectral Agony. I read on Guild Wiki that the armor needs to be fully infused to be effective. My new 15k top was not infused, so I assume that's why I was having the drain. However, when doing the Iron Mines mission again, and going through the process of getting the Spectral Essence to the Seer, the team members who were not infused prior to the mission, did get infused when completing this quest, but my top was not infused. Should it have been? Or do you need to be wearing a full set of uninfused armor for the infusion to be set? I wasn't planning on getting the full 15k set, but do plan on getting the bottoms. Just keeping the boots and gloves of the 1.5k.
Appreciate any help here! |

Just to be on the safe side, wear ONLY the pieces of armor you want to infuse. Don't confuse the poor Seer AI. =)

LOL, well, I'm sure I'm going to need a full set to get there. Though, I think you mean take off everything but the new piece before bringing the essence back to the Seer. Am I right?

You have to be wearing the armour that you want infused in order for it to become infused.

Thats what I usually do. If I get a new headpiece or other piece of armor and want it infused, I make sure the new armor is all I'm wearing.

It really shouldn't matter. I've gotten only my Scar Pattern Infused, but still wore the rest of my armour.

hmmm... I guess all I can do is trial and error. At least I know it's do able. I may wait until I get the other piece I want before doing it.
Thanks for responses, everyone! |

It's so much more invigorating to make the run up there half naked, but do what you gotta do...
(run/fight fully armored and then wear only the pieces you want to be infused when you make the turn-in. Thats what I meant.) lol |

The only thing you need to be concerned about is wearing the piece that you want infused eg the 15K top and wear the rest that is already Infused.I did this with a mask that wasn't infused and a set of gauntlets as well as a set of boots. In your case all you need to be wearing is the 15K to with your 1.5K set of the rest.It doesn't matter if the 1.5K is already infused.
